Teenage drama in WW II
I absolutely loved how the book felt like it was from the POV of a teenager. It was filled with story and twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. Christell Lindeque
An Enjoyable Read!
The story, which takes place in England, during World War Two, is told by Annie through her perspective through the entries in her diary from the year she turned 16, and also as she reads the diary many years later.
The author does a great job capturing the pivotal year of this young girl, as well as giving us a glimpse into the world she lived in during the war.
I enjoyed reading this and
highly recommend!
